Anyone want some cherrys
I have about fifty cherry trees in a section of my garden/ steep embankment
They taste very good and need picking right now
It's a shame but I haven't the time this year,I just eat a few every time I walk past

Ok I finally got around to talking to my neighbour about the house
I told him about the footsteps I heard the first night I stayed
He said he,s heard them as well thinking it was me clumping up and down the stairs and then he,s realised I'm not their
I asked him about the murder
And it wasn't in my house
It was his sons girlfriend that was murdered by the people that used to live opposite
The girl that died in my house hung herself
There was also a young child that died in the house a long time ago
Although he didn't know what the cause was
Quite interesting really as I heard what I thought was kids running past my bedroom door one evening when I was on the phone
Sounded happy though as I heard laughter
I wonder why the girl hung herself
And was it anything to do with the foots steps coming up the staircase

Blimey Roger, the plot thickens, well done for finding all that out ( though you may want to keep it from potential tenants or buyers!).
Even though the girl wasn't murdered in the house, it's in the area ( do you know where the murder happened?) - so could still affect it. Also, did that girl hang herself in your house, or outside somewhere else? How really sad, hope she's not still stuck there somewhere, especially considering her state of mind when she passed.

Wow, well then I would not be surprised if that is a lot of what's happening. ... Very sad.

Also, so far as I recall it's an old house, Lord knows what else has happened over hundreds of years on that patch there.

A new occurrence at haystone, this ones a bit different from the other happenings
Happened Tuesday evening in the basement flat bedroom
Had been watching something on my ipad before going to bed
I was sitting in one of those slider rocking chairs, kindly donated by my daughter in law
As there's not much in the way of comfort down there at the moment
Any way,so I'm watching fast and loud and went to pause it to make a cuppa
As I move the chair rocks back slightly and it's just enough for me to notice something between me and the wall next to me
So it would have been just behind my right hand shoulder
It was a blackness,in the first two seconds I thought it was a shadow but instantly dismissed this as I looked away and then looked back
There was no shadow and the blackness was gone
It was as if something was looking over my shoulder, although I did not get any sensation of this at the time
And the overall feeling in the house is very good
Just another supprise at haystone

Ah, so your work refurbishing it has not made them any less welcome!
Sounds like it/they like you and are giving the place a nice friendly atmosphere :)

I definitely have friends in haystone
They or it is now playing funny little tricks on me
Well one was anyway
I had been working late in the top flat, which is almost finished now
And I kept running down to the middle flat as that's where I've organised all the bits I need tools etc
There is no lighting in the middle flat
But as I know where everything is I can just walk in and know where an item is
Late in the evening ,it's quite dark and I have to go down to the middle flat and get the scilicone gun
Just as I'm about to enter the front room where everything is stored ,I notice a black bucket has been placed right in the middle of the door way
I only realised something was there as the area just seemed darker than it should be
I had a little laugh and it/them they are very amusing and to keep it up
The other thing was the kitchen door in the basement flat
I always leave it open as it lets in a bit of precious light into the hallway stairs area
The door doesn't shut on its own and there's no big draughty or anything that would shut it
But and this was after the bucket incidence I went down to the basement flat and found the kitchen door shut
So the prescence in haystone seems to be getting braver, and that's ok with me as long as it's on a friendly level
I might start testing it to see if I can make any kind of communication
