Hi Everyone.
As i said in my introduction i have had many encounters with
the paranormal and i will put my experiences here for anyone
interested.

My first ever ghost encounter.

I used to live in the outer hebrides, a place called west gernish in south uist, Scotland.
I must have been about 8 years old and i was standing on the porch step of our house with my mum.
I saw a figure floating up road and said to my mum "whats that?".
She did'ent know what it was, nor did i really being 8 at the time.
The figure was of an old lady and it was very vivid in that you could
make out certain features very clearly.
The figure went floating up the road until it went out of sight.
I did'ent think much of it until about 11 - 12 years later when
talking to a freind they mentioned about an old lady who lived in a
house down the road with her very nasty husband.
He used to beat her and do things no man should.
One night after a huge row he beat her and locked her in a cupboard and made sure she could not get out.
After a few weeks of being locked in there without food or water she died in there.
Could this be what i saw, the woman who had died?

Jerry.

Oh my goodness, what a story, and what an experience to see this. Did you ever speak to your mother about it later to find what she saw then?

A very tragic tale of that poor woman, sounds like either she didn't move on, or if she did, some residue of that sadness and trauma remained as a recording.

Hi.

Yeah, i talked to my mother about not long ago in fact.
She said she hardly remembers it but she does remember seeing the figure.
It is a very sad thing that happened and the people that remember the time were very elderly and have
now sadly passed away.
Being so young it did not really mean much at the time.

It's brilliant that your mum saw the figure too! Fabulous as of course this rules out a lot of possibilities and gives you that confirmation too.
I wonder if she's been seen since, if she's still there, or if the area is changed a lot?
Would be interesting if you went back.

I'm looking forward to hearing your other experiences and seeing you around.

Hi guys.

The place has not changed at all being in the wilds of scotland on an island.
They are very religious ( catholic faith ) there and nothing happens on a sunday at all as they
belive this is the sabbath day.
My mum left there about 8 years ago but saw nothng since that day we did.

Its a very nice place to visit in the summer but horrid in winter, high winds (115mph was the highest) a lot of rain and cold.

I have no plans to go back but maybe i will in the future.

Jerry.

Hi guys.

Time for my next experience.

I came to live with my grandmother in 1992 after leaving Scotland at 18 to live in Scarborough.
She was ok but could be nasty at times and very morbid.
My brother joined us 3 years later in 1995.
In August 1998 my brother and i were getting ready to go out . ( pubs / disco ).
About 7.30pm that evening we left and said Goodbye to our gran.
Little did we know that would be the last time we saw her alive.
We got back that night around 2am and went to bed.
6.30am the next morning there was a loud knock at the door and i thought who on earth is that.
It was the police.
A concerned neighbour had phoned them after seeing her lying on the lawn in our back garden.
They told me she was dead and i had to go up to make sure it was her etc and sadly it was.
After the funeral things started to happen.
You could hear shuffling of her feet across the landing of our house also
my bed moved a few times which scared me to death as i was in it.
When you went upstairs there was a feeling of being watched, a very strong one.
This went on for around 6 months then faded out.
My parents have now moved there and nothing is reported apart from you still feel someone is there when
you go upstairs sometimes.

I guess the phenomina was poltergeist activity, audible and sensory activity.

I feel this was my gran coming back.

She died from a brain hemaridge ( sorry about spelling ) while bringing the washing in that evening.
Its upsetting to know she was up there all night but i guess i was not to know.

Thanks for looking.

Jerry.
