Holiday

Postby Spirit Bear » Thu Jul 10, 2014 8:08 pm

Just to let you all know that from tomorrow July 11th to the 17th next week, I, along with Chatelaine and GiTM, will not be showing up here as we will be away in North Wales, and we are not taking our computers. So please do not be concerned that you do not see us on here for the next few days.

Just got back last night. Fantastic trip, glorious weather and scenery visiting North Wales historic and haunted places.

Rug Chapel, Dolbardarn Castle, Valley Crucis Abbey, Llanberis Pass, Beaumaris Castle and Gaol, Anglesey Coast, Betws Y Coed Fairy Glen & other sites, Cymer Abbey, Criccieth Castle, Ruddlan Castle, Denbigh Castle, Harlech Castle..... not sure if I missed anywhere out.

First three days we also stayed in an historic 16th Century quarryman's cottage, nestled in the middle of a mountain wood and accessible only on foot via a 10 minute walk - no cars, no phones, no TV.
Didn't encounter any ghosts in that one, but the atmosphere and ambience was very special.

Fantastic, awesome, fabulous, etc, etc, etc! Fabulous scenery, clean mountain and sea air, amazing locations. When I get back home I will be doing a travelogue about our adventures in North Wales, look for it in the Members Only section, and there will be plenty of photos!

When Spirit Bear was over here, he was using Chatelaine's computer, so I think that last post was actually from him! :-D
