Unfortunately we have had to moderate a few posts on the forum due to personal insults and what could be construed as libelous or threatening statements by some. Fortunately these have been a minority, but as there have been several on one particular thread, I must again mention the forum rules.

The EG staff do not take responsibility for views expressed in the threads which are those of members, not of EG itself, however there are forum rules that have to be adhered to, and the forum has a responsibility to enforce these.

Please note this is a FRIENDLY forum for all members, and for anyone to express their views using civilized debate. Posts that contain insults and antagonism or hateful statements that could make the forum unfriendly, threatening or even libelous will be deleted or moderated.

Let's have a friendly community here where anyone feels comfortable to join and express their views in a dignified manner!!

Anyone is free to join this forum so long as they stick to these rules - including members or fans of some of the more controversial paranormal groups and TV shows!!

It really is an awful shame that people cant be civil ,respect other people's opinions and beliefs ,why on earth do they feel the need to attack with verbal abuse , it's totally unkind and unnecessary .
What happened to having a good old fashioned friendly debate without you having to block unnecessary hurtful comments .

Fortunately spookynoodles, so far instances like this have been very rare (touching wood) and we haven't had to moderate much on here. It may also give you peace of mind to know the comments haven't been specifically directed at other members of the forum or their views, but they just have been odd extreme OTT and inappropriately worded comments in general, or have been comments about individuals not of this forum, so I just had to moderate. I don't think there was any real ill intent, just heated comments that were not thought out.

Hope that helps!

If we did get any serious trolls on here I expect they would show up pretty fast after joining & we would just delete them immediately, and hopefully this will never be any of the "regulars" on here. :)
