Watched the first ever episode last night, as that DVD arrived, this one was originally a pilot. Really good, and not dated much at all.

I never watched any TV at all in the late '80s or through the 90's and noughties, so missed a lot of rubbish, but some good stuff too. I did see the X Files movie though.

TV has improved but the mind numbing stuff has multiplied too just as well there are more channels x

yes, as Spirit Bear will also attest.
Not watching all and just selecting the series you want is a good method, I find. I watch more via Lovefilm dvds than by telly lol

That's great Winnie, I think it's just about the right time for them to come back.

BTW Chatelaine bought the whole set of all seasons DVDs in a package a week or two back, so I'm going to team up with her to watch those from start to finish. Done the fist two already.

OOooh yeah, box set sitting here looking at me and I am loving my journey back to the past! I used to love watching the X-Files when I was in my 20's, hehehehe I used to have my hair just like Mulders and have the same glasses, not because I was a X-Files nerd, but just because it was the fashion back then. :smile:

They are certainly not hanging about chomping at the bit to get started again :-D which please me greatly its been toooo long
