The Vertical Plane

I've just finished reading a copy of Ken Webster's Vertical Plane. Very well written and utterly fascinating!

If you aren't familiar with the story of the Dodleston messages or know about it a little, I still recommend diving into this book.

Some further backstory:

I know this story! It featured in a 1990's paranormal series here in the UK called, "Out of this world" which was hosted by a celebrity mathematician called Carol Vorderman. I still have the entire series on VHS video tape and intend to upload it to Youtube sometime. The only bit of the series you can find on youtube is a small snippet of the Ettington Park haunting.

Back to the story, it seemed a very tall tale at the time and yet the people who had experienced this time glitch were very convincing. It all centred around the early computers that I remember from school in the mid 1980's. I also remember the actor Karl Johnson (Hot Fuzz, Larkrise to Candleford etc) played the communicating Tudor Lukas. I wish it was to be found somewhere online, great reconstruction of the story!
