Hi Guys,

The first meeting did not go ahead, i had to pull out due to unforseen circimstances.
Luckily though everyone was very understanding and the meeting is rescheduled for a
day / time to be confirmed.

The Scarborough Ghost Group wil be held once a fortnight when things get going.

Thanks.

Jerry.

Good to hear it went well, Jerry. The first meeting is usually the hardest, as everybody is a stranger at first. It will get easier, as you now know there are like-minded people who share your interest.

Thanks guys.

As it was an afternoon meeting only 2 showed up, but more are coming to the next one as that will be held in the evening.

The first meeting was held in the afternoon due to me not having transport until next week ( new small car ) and could not get back at night.

The next meeting wil be held in a pub so there will be spirits present, not nessacerily ghost ones lol.

Sounds to me like you got off to a great start. And even a very small group can do a great investigation, we've done many, in fact I think in many ways a few investigators is better.

Hey, if you have a car, it's always possible, this is how we all met on here. I lived in Northumberland with a bunch of members, and the others were in Wales or USA in Spirit Bear's case , We would just travel on weekends, til I moved to Wales.

Admittedly always best to have people local though.

Hi Zombiekiller,

It is a shame we don't live nearer, as you've probably read on here I too have started a paranormal group but finding it difficult to attract members, perhaps I'm going about it wrong lol.

Ghostinthemachine recommended a facebook page to me, facebook is not my thing but maybe worth a look if you can get on with it.
